The platform was launched in some Asian countries in 2021, and in September 2023, it made a big international leap by expanding to key markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom. How to create an account on TikTok Shop?

  1. Register on TikTok Shop:

The first step is to create a seller account. To do this, you must access from the official TikTok Shop page, where you can create a new account or link your TikTok account.

At the end of the registration, the platform will automatically verify your account as part of the European Union (EU) region, associating it with the country from which you accessed.

 

  1. Choose the type of profile:

At this step, TikTok will ask you to configure your account as a business or as a freelancer.

  • If you are a business: you must provide the business address, claims address (visible to the public), and the company representative's details. You will also need to include and verify your personal data.

  • If you are a freelancer: you will need to provide your personal data, such as name, address, and identity document. Additionally, you must send a photo with your document so that TikTok can verify your identity.
